VETS4PETS JOINS POCHIN DEVELOPMENTS LONGTON RETAIL SCHEME
March 2009
Pochin Developments, in a joint venture with Malahat Properties, has secured its second letting at its retail development in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent.
The prominent retail development is located on the corner of Anchor Road and Amison Street, just half a mile north of Longton town centre. On a busy commuter route, the development is ideal for serving the local residential area and provides parking for 24 cars.
Leading veterinary practice, Vets4Pets, has taken the 157 sq m (1,700 sq ft) unit two and will join the Co-operative who will have taken the adjoining unit for a new food store. One unit of 74 sq m (800 sq ft) remains. It could be used for retail but also has planning permission for use as a hot food take away.
On the letting Pochin Developments Director, Jim Nicholson commented: "The redevelopment at Anchor Road will provide a convenient retail hub for the surrounding residential area. With Vets4Pets joining the Co-operative at the scheme, we are establishing a good quality mix of tenants and we are hopeful that the development will be fully let in the near future. "
We expect that the Co-operative and Vets4Pets will be open to customers within the next few weeks.
Butters John Bee is sole agent for the scheme.
