Pochin (Contractors) Ltd, part of the Cheshire based Pochin's plc, has begun construction of UK Land & Property's £6.5 million industrial development on Estuary Commerce Park in Speke, Liverpool.
The xx sq ft, design-led unit, which has already been pre-let to transactional mail specialist Communisis, is one of the most high profile industrial projects to be built in Liverpool this year. Pochin's was contracted by UK Land & Property to construct the new HQ as a design and build scheme and is now underway with a stylish, steel-framed production and administration facility will include storage and distribution accommodation for Communisis' xx employees who will relocate from the company's current Liverpool base.
As Jonathan Pochin of Pochin (Contractors) Ltd explained: "Estuary Business Park has built a national reputation as a commercial location that offers both innovatively-designed accommodation and attractive landscaping. With its eye-catching curved roof and detailed elevation, the new Communisis HQ will reflect this forward-looking development ethos, and we are delighted to be working with UK Land & Property once again to help them deliver their commitment to quality development."
The showpiece site in Liverpool Land Development Company's
regeneration of South
Liverpool, Estuary Commerce Park has become the city's most
prestigious out of town
commercial locations. The Communisis scheme will add to the
impressive mix of
accommodation at Estuary Commerce Park, which has attracted a
wide-range of high-profile occupiers including Hbos, DHL
International and The National Blood Centre.
Simon Parker from UK Land & Property concluded:
"Estuary Commerce Park is a key
development in our portfolio and the new Communisis HQ will
complement the mix of
accommodation and occupiers already on the site. We have worked
with Pochin's on several occasions and value their
professional, service-driven approach; we look forward to working
with them on the successful delivery of this latest
scheme."
