POCHIN’S APPOINTS NEW NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Pochin's plc, one of the North West's leading construction and development companies, has announced a new appointment to its board.
Richard Fildes, chairman of Barlows PLC, has joined the company as non-executive director. Mr Fildes will be a member of the Nominations, Remuneration and Audit Committees.
The appointment follows a successful year for Pochin's,
which has seen the company
complete a number of successful deals, including the acquisition of
Liverpool's landmark
Horton House building, part of Exchange Flags and 180-acres of
development land from steel giant Corus in Deeside.
Speaking of the appointment, John Woodcock, chairman at Pochin's PLC, said: "Following a successful period of substantial growth we are delighted to welcome Richard to our team and have every confidence that his business experience will assist in our future growth strategy."
