POCHIN’ PLANT ACHIEVES OHSAS 18001 ACCREDITATION
Pochin Plant Ltd, a division of North West based Pochin's plc, has achieved registration to the quality management system OHSAS 18001:1999, through the British Standards Institution.
The accreditation, which was achieved over a period of 12 months by Pochin's, was gained following a number of audits from the British Standards Institution who assessed the company's health and safety procedures.
Robin Read, Safety, Health and Environmental Manager at Pochin's, explained: "We worked hard to achieve this accreditation, which comes after a process of installing a health and safety management system at Pochin's. Through working with the British Standards Institution, we are delighted to have achieved this recognition."
