POCHIN HOMES TO BUILD AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROJECT AT BAKERS LANE IN WINSFORD

Pochin Homes Limited, part of Cheshire based Pochin's PLC, has negotiated a contract worth £1.09m to provide rent-to-buy housing in Winsford, on behalf of the Plus Dane Group.
Pochin Homes are to build 13 houses and flats at the Bakers Lane development. The new housing accommodation will total approximately 10,000 sq ft and will be made up of two and three bed semi-detached and terraced homes as well as two bed apartments.
The new development follows the successful completion of circa £5m worth of affordable housing completed by Pochin Homes over the last 18 months throughout the North West and Midlands areas.
Of the new contract, John Russell, Commercial Director of Pochin Homes, commented "This scheme is the culmination of months of hard work by all parties involved, to increase the amount of housing in the Winsford area. We are pleased to play a part in helping to bring this strategy to life and it is fantastic to be part of a project that will bring much needed affordable accommodation to the local community.
"Works are due to commence in early April and are scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.
"This further increases our commitment to working in partnerships with affordable housing providers, where our expertise and experience as private house-builders can be utilised, to ensure developments are completed on time and within budget, whilst at the same time continuing our own speculative housing developments.
