POCHIN CONSTRUCTION HANDS OVER THE FRUITS OF ITS LABOUR

Pochin Construction, part of Cheshire-based Pochin Plc, has completed the £583,783 refurbishment of the Grapes public house in Gee Cross, Cheshire on behalf of Frederic Robinsons Limited.

The 12-month contract to conduct the necessary refurbishment and alterations to the Grapes public house was undertaken by Pochin Construction in February 2008 and has been handed back over to Frederic Robinson on time and within budget.

Antony Pochin, business strategy director commented: "The Grapes occupies a prominent position in Gee Cross but has been in need of a facelift for a number of years, so we are proud to play a part in bringing this much-loved public house back to its former glory. Pochin was the original contractor to have built the Frederic Robinsons bottling centre in Stockport, when production began in 1975, so it is great to be able to continue that legacy and be involved in the refurbishment of prestige schemes, like the Grapes, across the North West."
