POCHIN ADVANCED ON MATRIX PARK PROJECT
Pochin (Contractors) Ltd. is set to complete another project for Redrow Commercial Developments Ltd this month - its sixth successive project with the developer.
The 12,659m2 (132,000 sq ft) unit, comprises office, production and warehousing facilities on the 5.4 acre site within Matrix Park near Chorley, Lancashire. A tenant has already been secured and a Forward Sale Agreement has been entered into with an Institutional Investor for the purchase of the completed development. Specialist healthcare company Vernon-Carus will be relocating from Preston to move onto the site upon completion.
Chris Whittaker, contracts manager at Pochin, said: "Whilst the building adheres to the general principles adopted throughout the park, it is also being tailored around the specific needs of the Vernon Carus."
Peter Howarth, construction manager at Redrow Commercial, added: "Pochin has risen to the challenges of this demanding project, accommodating many of the tenant's emerging fit out requirements whilst maintaining its programme to achieve early sectional completion of the production warehouse."
