15 April 2011
Pochin Special Projects, part of Cheshire-based Pochin's PLC, has completed a £86,000 contract to construct a 2 hour fire resistant store within the NWF (North West Farmers) Group's premises in Nantwich, Cheshire.
NWF is a specialist distributor of food, feed and fuel to a wide range of supermarkets. Responding to client demand, the Group has recently expanded its operations to include the storage of aerosols, for which it required its premises in Nantwich to be safe-guarded.
Pochin's Special Projects was instructed to construct the two-hour fire resistant walls and blast proof roof within one of its existing warehouses. The work took four weeks to complete and included the installation of a rapid roll automated door.
Antony Pochin, operations director of Pochin Special Projects, commented: "We have worked with NWF on previous occasions and we are pleased that the Group has come to Pochin to complete this specialist work. The works has been completed to the client's requirements and their insurers bespoke specification. We look forward to working with the Group on future projects."
