Pochin Builds New Medical Centre for Northwich
Pochin (Contractors) Ltd, part of the Cheshire based Pochin's plc, has commenced work on a project at Northwich Medical Centre, on behalf of specialist healthcare developer, Sapphire Primary Care Developments.
The £2.2 million centre, which will provide primary
healthcare facilities to the people of
Northwich, features general practice areas, a pharmacy, treatment
rooms as well as
conference and meeting facilities.
The two-storey, 1,100m2 (11, 825sq ft) facility consists of loading bearing masonry supporting pre-cast concrete stairs & upper floors, with external brickwork and Alcubond cladding; as Ian Walley, contracts manager at Pochin (Contractors) Ltd, explained: "We are pleased to have commenced work at this site, which will include all fit out and external works including car parking, soft landscaping and retaining walls."
The new medical centre is expected to be open to the public in Summer 2006.
