HEAVY GOODS CONTRACT FOR POCHIN
Pochin (Contractors) Ltd has commenced work on a £1 million contract in Bodelwyddan, on behalf of North Wales-based client Eatonfield Holdings Ltd.
The project will see the construction of a HGV Service Centre, where heavy goods vehicles will receive essential servicing and maintenance. The building is being constructed using a steel portal frame and features cladding with profiled metal.
"A number of features had to be taken into consideration with this particular project," said Antony Pochin, contracts director at Pochin's. "Inspection pits for mechanics were added, as well as all-important hard standing for heavy vehicle parking. Associated offices have been built at one end of the workshops and a driver's welfare area has also been included. To ensure that the goods vehicles can access the service centre easily, a new junction has also been added to the main Abergale Road."
