FULL HOUSE AT POCHIN DEVELOPMENTS' LONGTON RETAIL SCHEME

Pochin Developments, part of Cheshire-based Pochin's PLC together with Malahat Properties Limited has let the remaining unit at its retail development in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent.
Nemo'z Fish & Chips has taken the final 800 sq ft unit, on a 15-year lease. Nemo'z will join the scheme's anchor tenant The Co-operative alongside veterinary practice Vets4Pets.
Pochin acquired the former Leeds Pottery site in 2008 and, upon receipt of planning consent for a change of use, major conversion works were subsequently undertaken to transform the existing building into a three unit retail terrace comprising of 603 sq m (6,500 sq ft) in total.
The development is located on the corner of Anchor Road and Amison Street, just half a mile north of Longton town centre. On a busy commuter route, the development is ideal for serving the local residential area and provides parking for 24 cars.
On the scheme Jim Nicholson, Director of Pochin Developments commented: "The redevelopment of the former Leeds Pottery site has provided a convenient retail hub for the surrounding residential area.
