EXPANSION CONTINUES AT MIDPOINT 18

Pochin Developments Ltd has received planning permission for a 32,516 sq m (350,000 sq ft) unit at its landmark development Midpoint 18, Middlewich, Cheshire.

Strategically located close to the M6 motorway, the development will provide one of the
largest industrial units in the area boasting large floor plates and cross docking facilities.

The announcement is the latest success at the site, which is already home to a number of high profile distribution tenants including Tesco, Wincanton and Spanset, as Jim Nicholson, director at Pochin Developments explains: "Midpoint 18 is one of our most successful sites and we are looking forward to adding this next phase. The development's strategic location and size has already made Midpoint 18 an attractive prospect to occupiers and we are confident that this site will continue to be a successful commercial centre."

A number of other units are currently under construction at the site including the 4,180 sq m (45,000 sq ft) Valley Court, a speculative industrial scheme comprising light industrial and distribution units. Verity Court, a 1,208 sq m (13,000sq ft) speculative scheme of small office units has also recently been completed.

Lamonts and Matthews and Goodman are joint agents at the site.
