ALL CHANGE AT POCHIN

Pochin's plc, one of the leading North West construction and development companies, has announced a restructure of its board and the appointment of three new directors.

John Edwards has been appointed as group finance director and company secretary. A qualified fellow of CIMA, Edwards joins the company from Shiloh plc, the Lancashire-based healthcare and textiles company.

Pochin's has also appointed Nicholas Fry as non-executive director, and part of his role will see him join the Group's audit committee. The position adds to Fry's current directorships at Brixton plc, Erinaceous Group plc, Merryll Lynch British Smaller Companies Trust plc and Absolute Return Trust Ltd.

Fry is joined by Michael Chadwick, who has also been appointed as non-executive director. Chadwick is the incumbent executive chairman at Grafton Group plc, a company that has seen sales exceed £1 billion since Chadwick's appointment.

Commenting on the appointments, Pochin's chairman John Woodcock says: "We are delighted to welcome the arrival of our new directors. Pochin has grown substantially over the past year and our future growth strategy will be supported and facilitated by the new board."
